Activity for Teachers

Many of the bonds in our collection are connected to historic Nevada people, places, and events.  Before coming to the museum, have your students do a short research paper on the below Nevada aspects of this exhibit.  Use the exhibit online as a research base, play around with historic signatures, and pay special attention to bond details that all tell the unique story of Nevada (specifically meets Common Core SS.2.11.; SS.3.22.; SS.4.14.; SS.4.24.; SS.4.26.; SS.6-8.WGGS.18.; SS.6-8.EUSH.18; SS.6-8.EUSH.40.).
