Description

This stock certificate (No. 104) represents 100 shares valued at fifty dollars a share for the Cincinnati Railway Tunnel Company. It is signed by famed western explorer John C. Fremont, who was also a military officer, cartographer, land surveyor, and civil engineer for the United States.

	This certifies that John Fremont and Morlow are entitled to One Hundred Shares of Fifty Dollars each, in the Capital Stock of the Cincinnati Railway Tunnel Company transferable only on the Books of the said Company, on the surrender of this Certificate.
“Preferred in dividends of profits at the rate of Eight per cent per annum.” Declared semi-annually.
