Description

This stock certificate (No. 19) represents 1000 shares valued at $1.00 each for the Cactus Peaking Mining and Milling Company. Company Secretary Marshall Bond’s signature is seen on this bond. Bond was the landlord of Jack London’s who based his book Call of the Wild on Bond's dog. Bond spent his later years travelling Africa as a hunter and prospector.

This is to Certify that C. H. Brown is the owner of One thousand Shares of the Capital Stock of the Cactus Peak Mining and Milling Company transferable only on the books of the Corporation by the holder hereof in person or by Attorney, upon surrender of this Certificate properly endorsed.

In Witness Whereof, the said Corporation has caused this Certificate to be signed by its duly authorized officers and to be sealed with the Seal of the Corporation at Goldfield, Nev. this 16 day of March A.D. 1905.
