This certificate (No. 1510) represents $500 for the construction of the State of Nevada Highway. It is signed by Emmet D. Boyle, the 13th governor of Nevada and Nevada state senate from 1915 to 1923.

Bond of the State of Nevada
	The State of Nevada, in accordance with the provisions of an Acts entitled “An Act authorizing the Board of Examiners to issue and sell bonds to provide money to pay a portion of the costs of constructing a state highway system, and providing for the payment of said bonds,” approved March 28, 1919, for value received, hereby promises to pay, as the office of the State Treasurer, Carson City, Nevada, so bearer, on the first day of July, A.D. 1930, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, in gold coin of the United States, with interest thereon, in like gold coin, at the rate of six per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, on the first day of January and the first day of July of each year, upon surrender of the annexed coupons as they severally become due, during the life of this bond. 
	It is hereby certified and warranted that the Board of Examiners issuing this bond is created by and under the Constitution of the State of Nevada, and has been authorized by the Act entitled and approved as aforesaid to issue this bond, which has been duly issued, advertised, and sold by said Board of Examiners, as duly requested by the Board of Directors of the Department of Highways, and for the purposes designated in, and in all respects pursuant to, the Acts entitled and approved as aforesaid, and that all condititions precedent rendering this bond valid and binding have been fully and strictly complied with and performed; and also that the total indebtedness of the State of Nevada, including this bond, does not exceed any Constitutional or statutory limitation, and that due provision	has been made for the levy of a direct annual ad valorem tax on all taxable property of the State of Nevada, in addition to all other taxes, sufficient to pay interest accruing hereunder as the same falls due, and to discharge the principal hereof at maturity; and lastly, that the faith of The State of Nevada is hereby pledged that the Acts entitled and approved as aforesaid shall not be repealed, or the taxation thereby imposed be omitted, until this bond, and coupons issued under and by virtue thereof, shall have been paid in full, as in said Act provided.
	In Testimony Whereof, The Governor, the State Treasurer, and the State Controller have, respectively, signed, endorsed, and countersigned these presents, and have caused the same to be authenticated by the Great Seal of the State, at Carson City, this seventeenth day of September, A.D. one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
